About the Conductor

John Collera

Lifelong gamer and creative. I'm incredibly passionate about game design, and I derive a lot of enjoyment from working in teams. The social part of game development is incredibly fun and enjoyable, but also challenging. I work to maintain a healthy team dynamic  and keep relationships in the team healthy in order to allow for great communication. With great communication, I love to make games that break the mold in some aspect, whether it be design, art, or mechanically. I strive to make games that are engaging and fun narratively, visually and mechanically through seamless and thoughtful game design.


My biggest inspirations are: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom, Hyper Light Drifter, Hollow Knight, and Persona 5.


I'm currently pursuing an M.S. in Interactive Media (Level Design Track) at Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy. I also have a B.A. in Digital Media (Game Design track) and a minor in Entrepreneurship. Graduating in 2026.
